1937-2021
In the early morning hours of October 30th, 2021 God called upon Henryk to join Him in Heaven. Henryk “has fought the good fight, he has finished the race, he has kept the faith. » Henryk was a faithful and loving husband, caring and generous father, loving and adorable dziadek. Knowledgeable and righteous, he was a devout Catholic building on Truth and on what is most important in life. He played organ and led various choirs in his career in Poland. He was a baritone and in his later days Henryk sung as a bass at the Most Holy Trinity Parish in Montreal, which he attended for over 25 years. After retirement, he composed harmony to over 120 songs and donated his work to Our Lady of Chęstochowa in Jasna Góra, Poland. He passed peacefully to join the Lord in Heaven.
He leaves to mourn his devoted wife of 53 years Teresa Szymak Grabkowska, his loving children Piotr (Julita), Krzysztof (Beata) and Sławomir (Katarzyna), his adoring grandchildren Michał, Jakub, Paweł, Jan-Krzysztof, Anna Maria, Marie Teresa, Luke Henryk Bogdan, Barbara and Zofia.
