Passed away \u00a0on\u00a0January 15th, 2020\u00a0 at the age of\u00a088 years old<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Eliane on January 15, 2020.<\/p>\n

Eliane was born in 1931 in Brussels, Belgium where she met and married her husband Georges. Soon after they immigrated to Canada in 1957. They made their home in Montreal and raised their four children.<\/p>\n

Mom enjoyed reading, photography and painting. She was an avid walker and enjoyed strolling along the shores of Lac St- Louis in Lachine.
\nFamily time with her grandkids was truly cherished.<\/p>\n

Eliane had Parkinson\u2019s disease for the last 10 years of her life. She rarely complained about the illness but it made everyday living difficult.<\/p>\n

She is predeceased by her husband Georges and leaves behind her children; John (Jean O\u2019Brien), Stephane (Monique Dutil), Natalie (Mark Yerbury), George (Paula Arscott). Ten grandchildren, Sophie, Edith, Antoine, Clara, Jordan, Jasmine, Briana, Milly (Jamey Hanton), Wesley and Brittney, and one great grandchild, Lenny.
\nShe also leaves to mourn in Belgium her brother Jacques (Margaret) and nephew Louis and niece Laura.<\/p>\n

The visitation will be held at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home (560 Ch. Bord du Lac, Dorval, Qc. H9S 2B3) on January 31, from 2 pm to 4 pm.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
