He had found his passion and at just 21 was soaring through his life, high on his dream of working in the field of aviation. His love for flying was undeniable. He was missioned and focused and it was everyone’s joy to watch him accomplish what he had.

Alex was our life, our every waking moment. He brought light and love into our lives as he did for so many people. To know him was to know pure kindness. Alex had a way about him, he was confident yet not arrogant, he was accomplished yet humble and he was optimistic yet realistic. He was always one to see the cup half full and was the anchor in our lives and for so many others. Alex gave of himself selflessly time after time. It’s what made him so special and so endearing.

We didn’t just lose a son, or a friend. On the 17th, in a fatal small plane accident, tragically and incomprehensibly, we lost the promise of a bright and beautiful future. We know our son and we know that he would want us all to be reminded that in his final moments he was exactly where he wanted to be.

Alex is survived by his loving parents Kim Golder and Paul J. McIntyre. Grandmother Jessie McIntyre (granny) . Aunt Lydia Gaudrea and Dee Boldrick. Uncle Rob Lapointe (Mylene).
Great Aunt Joan Candlish, Norma Myers(Eric), Annette Candlish Great Uncle Ken Candlish.
Alex was also loved by many other cousins and family members, as well as several dear friends.

The family will receive condolences at J.J.
