1958 – 2020<\/p>\n
On August 29, 2020, after a long illness, Chiara Monteferrante peacefully passed away at the West Island Palliative Care Residence. Beloved mother of Nando Antonelli, cherished daughter of Anna Sabatino, and dear sister of Maria Monteferrante. She is also survived by her nephews Christopher Harty (Shamimara), Stephen Harty (Ariane) and Michael Harty, as well as extended family members and friends in Canada and Italy. Chiara was predeceased by her father Giuseppe Monteferrante (1998) , her step-father Giuseppe Tuzzolini (2006) and her brother-in-law Brian Harty ( 2004).<\/p>\n
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, H9S 2B3, (514-631-1511) on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, 2-5pm, and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will take place the following day, Thursday, September 3, 2020, at 11h30 am, at St. Veronica\u2019s Church, 1300 Carson Avenue, Dorval, H9S 1M6. Burial to follow at a later date.<\/p>\n
In recognition of the outstanding and compassionate care Chiara received, in lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be gratefully appreciated by her family.<\/p>\n
