Gord left us on April 16th<\/sup>,2021, to join his deceased parents Grace Stephen and William Stokes. He was born in Toronto along with his older brother Stephen. He leaves behind sadly, his wife Barbara of 12 years, stepson Sean Cunningham (Sharon), his brother Stephen (Diane) with 2 nephews, close cousin Paul (Ellie) with 2 sons, many sisters, and brothers-in-law who he enjoyed getting together with, and also many, many good friends. Gord spent many an hour in the last 6 weeks talking with his brother and cousin. As a retired employee of Air Canada, he was proud of his 33 years plus of service. Gord loved skiing, sailing, his bowling along with talking about cars, old or new.\u00a0 Gord will certainly missed by everyone as he had a very good heart.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence,<\/sub> 265 Rue Andr\u00e9-Brunet, Kirkland, QC H9H 3R4, in memory of Edward Gordon Stokes where he received the best of care by staff and volunteers.
