It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Annie Saviuk on October 10, 2021, wife of the late Harry Saviuk. Annie fought her battle with cancer using the strength and determination she was known for yet, to the end, she always put her family\u2019s well-being above her own. \u00a0A true Ukrainian Baba that way!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
She leaves to mourn her loving children Helen and Steven (Johanne), her grandchildren Eric, Julia (Rolando), Natasha, Philippe, Zachary and William and her great-grandson Maximo.\u00a0\u00a0 Her many friends at St. George Ukrainian Orthodox Church, The Teapot and Le Belvedere will miss her greatly.<\/p>\n

The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca<\/a> 514-639-1511) on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 9 am to 11 am followed by the funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am.\u00a0 Interment at St. George Orthodox Cemetery, Lachine will follow.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The family would like to thank the staff at the Cedar Cancer Center and the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for the attentive care they gave Annie.\u00a0 In lieu of flowers, donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n R\u00c9SIDENCE FUN\u00c9RAIRE J.J.
