Bohdan Moroz passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with cancer on October 5, 2022, at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke, Ontario.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bohdan was born in Walbrzych, Poland on June 4, 1956 to parents Jozef Moroz (deceased) and Tekla Skurczak (deceased). He emigrated to Canada with his parents in 1963. His sister, Helen, was born soon after their arrival. Bohdan grew up in the Ukrainian community in Lachine, Quebec and he was a member of CYM.\u00a0 Bohdan moved to Toronto in 2006 to be closer to his sister and her family.<\/p>\n

Bohdan is survived by his sister Helen, nephew Zachary, and brother-in-law Adam as well as many relatives in Ukraine, Canada, England, Germany and the US.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be held at JJ Cardinal Funeral Home at 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine, QC on October 12, 2022 from 6-9 p.m., panakhyda will be at 7:30.
