On November 30, 2022 our treasured father, the pillar of our family, passed away at age 92.\u00a0 Rolie was a very dedicated employee of the Montreal Association for the Blind for 36 years where he was the chief administrator in his role of Deputy Director \u2013 Head of Finance.\u00a0 Later in life he volunteered his time to several churches, the Montreal Association for the Blind and the Montreal Foundation for the Blind.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dad\u2019s family was the most important thing to him \u2013 caring for, loving and supporting us was his true aim in life.\u00a0 Dad, you are a great success.\u00a0 Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife of 18 years, Ann Marie; his brother Ernie and his sister Jean Prior.\u00a0 He will be so greatly missed by his children, Carole (David), Stephanie (Eric), Christopher and Valerie.\u00a0 Very caring and loved grandfather of Kimberly (Skyler), Amy (Erick), Tyler (Kayla), Cassandra (Noah), Stephen (Brooke), Jane (Frankie), Jaime and Liv.\u00a0 Granddad will also be missed by his many great grandchildren. Rolie will be lovingly remembered by his brother Herbie (Pirkko) and sister Mildie Broom, along with many other friends and family.<\/p>\n

Special thanks to the staff of Mary Elisabeth Noonan and of Anna Laberge Hospital for their care of our Father.\u00a0 Visitation will take place at J.J.
