It is with great sadness that we announce Ellen\u2019s passing on January 20,2023 at the age of 91 at the Jewish General Hospital surrounded by those who loved her.<\/p>\n
Courage, resilience, determination and curiosity were at the heart of her being. A loving mother and grandmother who would always be there for you. The family would like to thank the staff at the Jewish General for their care and compassion.<\/p>\n
Predeceased by beloved husband Alex Shatilla, survived by sons Kevin (Johanne), John (Carole) Simpson and god-children Karen (Kent), Mark (Carol) Shatilla. Also leaves behind her precious grand-children who brought her so much joy in her life ; Andrew, Matthew (Olivia), Genevieve, Gabrielle, Mark (Sadie) and Kristen Panneton, Phillip and Nadine Shatilla; great -grandchildren Samantha and Benjamin.<\/p>\n
