Doris passed away peacefully on April 18, 2023, surrounded by love. Sorely missed by daughters Barbara (Neil Ferguson) and Donna (Rob Gauthier) and grandchildren Alex
\n(Ben) and Eric. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ivan Brown and father, Arthur
\nChristy, mother, Annie Ferguson and brother, Alfred Christy.<\/p>\n
Doris’ quick wit caught many off guard right to her final days. Montreal born, she moved
\nto Hudson in her early teens and met and later married Ivan, the love of her life. Together, they raised 2 daughters and enjoyed traveling, restoring vintage cars, square dancing and minding grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Doris experienced 4 years of love and superb care from the staff at CHSLD Manoir\u00a0Beaconsfield, who treat all their residents like family. She would not have lived to almost 96 years of age without them.<\/p>\n
Interment alongside her beloved Ivan will take place in a private family gathering as per
\nDoris’ wishes.<\/p>\n
