Peacefully at home, with his loving family by his aide, it is with profound sadness that the family of Marcello Ferrante announce his passing on Monday May 15, 2023.<\/p>\n
Beloved husband of Rosetta Fiala Ferrante of 49 years, loving father of Maria-Elena, Carlo (Christina) and adored nonno of Selena and Tiana.
\nPre-deceased by his parents, Maria and Tenio, sisters Assunta, Ada and brother Remo. Marcello is survived by his siblings Tito (Nina) in Montreal, Frediana in New Jersey, Lanfranco, Raffaele and Flavia in Italy, his sister-in-law Tina Fiala, many nieces, nephews, family and many friends.<\/p>\n
Marcello lived each day with grace, dignity and kindness. He was a true gentleman, with his family always his top priority, together with his love of good meal, good wine and of course, soccer. The loss is huge, and Marcello will not be forgotten by any of the many people he touched.<\/p>\n
Family will receive condoleances Thursday from 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday from 9h30 at J.J. Cardinal Funeral home, 2125 Notre-Dame st, Lachine.
\nFuneral at Missione Dell\u2019Annunziata Church on Friday May 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. thence to Lachine Cemetery.<\/p>\n
