It is with profound sadness that Herbie\u2019s family announces his passing on May 16, 2023, at the age of 87.\u00a0 He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 64 years, Pirkko, his sons Scott (Melissa), Kevin (Chantal), grandson Austin, sister Mildie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.\u00a0 He is predeceased by his siblings Ernie, Rolie, and Jean.<\/p>\n

The family is eternally grateful to the staffs of the Valleyfield, Lakeshore, Jewish General, and Anna Laberge Hospitals, as well as the CLSC for the many years of compassionate care.<\/p>\n

Visitation will be at J.J.
