1953-2023<\/p>\n
Joyce Kat passed away peacefully on June 15th 2023 at her home in Lachine. She is survived by her partner Don Newman, and their children Richard (Yorleni) and Laura.<\/p>\n
Joyce grew up in Valois, studied education at McGill and spent her entire career as an elementary school teacher in Montreal, teaching at Cedarcrest, Beechwood, and Lasalle Junior before retiring. She was a caring and kind person truly loved by everyone who had the opportunity to know her.<\/p>\n
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday June 25th at J.J. Cardinal, 560, Bord du Lac \u2013 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, QC, H9S2B3, between 1-3pm, with a short ceremony between 1:30-2pm, followed by tea & coffee.<\/p>\n
