It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Carnevale on\u00a0December 14, 2023 after close to 108 exceptional years. The driving force and\u00a0heart of our family, he took on the challenges and celebrations of life with\u00a0courage, determination, humour and always an abundance of love for his family.<\/p>\n
During this difficult time we will hold on to these values and memories to keep\u00a0his legacy alive. While Vincenzo leaves behind his three children, Filomena (the\u00a0late Nicola), Antonietta (Richard), Terenzio (Loredana), as well as eight\u00a0grandchildren, Laura (Marco), Claudia (Sergio), Sergio (Teresa), Sara (Jeremy),\u00a0Giustino (Melissa), Marco, Giuliana, Davide, eight great-grandchildren and his\u00a0extended family in Canada and Italy, we are comforted to know he rejoins his\u00a0beloved wife, Libera.<\/p>\n
The family will receive condolences at the JJ Cardinal funeral home in Lachine\u00a0(2125 rue Notre Dame) on December 26, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00PM and 7:00 to\u00a09:00PM.
\nA funeral will be held December 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at La Missione\u00a0Dell\u2019Annunziata church in Lachine (4360 Rue Broadway) with a private burial to\u00a0follow.<\/p>\n
We would like to thank the doctors and staff of the JGH for providing care and\u00a0support in his final days.
