It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news that our beautiful Joanne passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 11th<\/sup>, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. She was a very proud Mom to her son, Liam. Joanne was a bright light in the lives of so many. She had a positive energy that was contagious, and she always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She had a laugh and a smile that lit up the room and warmed our hearts.<\/p>\n Joanne is survived by her beloved son, Liam, her Mom, Lucie, mother, Sue (Yves), father Roger (Sandra), sister Louise, and brother Alex, many family members and so many friends.<\/p>\n A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, June 30th<\/sup> at the Valois Bay Nautical Center, 90 Lakeshore Rd. Pointe Claire, from 3pm to 6pm. Joanne wished for everyone to wear bright colors to celebrate her life.<\/p>\n In lieu of flowers, donations to the McGill Brain Tumor Research Unit would be greatly appreciated.
