Winston Franklin Larocque, affectionately known as Bert, of Lachine, Quebec, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2024, at the Montreal General Hospital.<\/p>\n
Bert had an electrifying career in the trades, but most enjoyed his time tinkering at the cottage, “Northfork,” on Fraser Lake in the lower Laurentians.<\/p>\n
He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Jane (n\u00e9e Miltimore), and is survived by his sons, Matt (Emma), Jim (Nancy) and his granddaughter Elsie. He is also survived by seven brothers and sisters and many dear nieces and nephews, in-laws and outlaws. Many people played significant roles in Bert’s life including Anne and the All Saints Community.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, located at 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval. The funeral service will be held at All Saints by-the-Lake Anglican Church, located at 865 Lakeshore Drive in Dorval, Quebec, on Thursday, September 19, at 11:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
