1933 – 2024<\/p>\n
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Jacques C\u00f4t\u00e9 on September 15, 2024 at the age of 90.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Ghislaine, his two sons Sylvain (Rose Adamson) and \u00c9ric (Anne-Marie Broudehoux), his grandson Sacha Simon-C\u00f4t\u00e9, his sister Murielle (Andr\u00e9 Legault) as well as many relatives and friends.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Courageous and generous, Jacques began his career as a machinist,\u00a0 then went on to become a factory foreman and finally served as technical director within the hydraulics department of Dominion Engineering Works in Lachine where he was always popular with his co-workers during his remarkable 43 years of service.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
An enthusiastic angler, Lady Luck also smiled on him many times when he played cards with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 29 at the J.J. Cardinal funeral home, located at 2125 rue Notre-Dame in Lachine, from noon to 3 pm, followed by a farewell ceremony at 3 pm in the chapel.<\/p>\n
