1934 – 2025<\/p>\n
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giorgia Maletta Rino on January 16, 2025 at the age of 90.<\/p>\n
Predeceased by her husband of over 40 years, Francesco Rino.\u00a0 Beloved mother of Claudia Rino and Gianni Rino (Christine Archambault) and proud grandmother to ‘her treasures’ Matthew and Quinn.<\/p>\n
Giorgia began sewing at the tender age of six (6) in Italy and became a skilled seamstress.\u00a0 Along with her mother, Francesca Perrone, they left Italy for Argentina where she met her husband.\u00a0 The family then came to Canada in 1967.<\/p>\n
She will be remembered by family members and friends for her extreme generosity, her love of life, and her quick wit.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be held at JJ Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125, Notre-Dame Street, Lachine (Qu\u00e9bec) \u00a0H8S 2G5 on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.<\/p>\n
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 1:00 pm at St.-Anges de Lachine Church, 1400, rue Saint-Joseph, Lachine, Quebec H8S 2M8 followed by interment at Cote des Neiges Cemetery, Mausoleum La Pieta.<\/p>\n
