Diane Mercier became another shining star in the sky to light our way on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 79.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She leaves in mourning her children and their spouses: Claudine (Alan), St\u00e9phane (Manon); her stepdaughters and their spouses: Marnee (Claude) and No\u00eblla (Daniel). Her grandchildren and their partners: Troy (Carol), Justine (Gabriel), Jacynthe (B\u00e9atrice), Eliot (Leila-Rose), and Jacob (Juliana), as well as her great-granddaughters: Juliette and Everly.<\/p>\n

Everyone will keep in their hearts the love Diane had for them, her small thoughtful gestures for each family member, and her gift for bringing people together.<\/p>\n

She is also survived by her sister Denise and her husband Jean, her dear friend Marcel, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends. This \u201cfinal journey\u201d<\/strong> will reunite her with her husband Charles (1933\u20132021).
\nThe family finds comfort in knowing they are together and united once again.<\/p>\n

The family invites you to celebrate Diane’s life on March 30, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM<\/strong>.
\nWe encourage you to wear colorful patterns or an accessory in bright colors to honor Diane\u2019s passion for art and nature. Throughout this gathering, you will be able to enjoy pastries, small snacks, and coffee, as Diane was a great admirer of brunch.<\/p>\n

A ceremony led by the family will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event will take place at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home (2125 Notre-Dame Street, Lachine, QC H8S 2G5).<\/strong><\/p>\n
