1944 – 2025<\/p>\n
Patrick Francis Joseph Griffin passed away at Lakeshore General on Thursday, May 22nd, aged 80 years old.<\/p>\n
Father of Amanda, Brendan (Wan Ling), Andrew (Katie) and Christopher, brother to Charles (Marj) and Michael (Lynn) and predeceased by beloved sisters Helen (Barry) and Susan, and loving Grandfather to Connor, Jennifer, Molly, Bridgette and Joshua.<\/p>\n
The patron of many restaurants, most particularly Le Manoir in Pointe-Claire and Barbies in Lachine, he was well known for his effusive good humour and joke-telling – as well as for his love of painting with many different associations across the West Island.<\/p>\n
Pat will also be missed by his extensive list of cherished cousins, friends, colleagues and students as he was a teacher at Bishop Whelan HS (Lachine) as well as principal at Our Lady of Peace (Fabreville), Notre-Dame de Sion (St. Laurent), St. Augustine School and MES HS in Wemindji.<\/p>\n
The family wishes to extend gratitude to the caring nurses and doctors at Lakeshore General Hospital and the staff at Le Manoir in Pointe Claire.<\/p>\n
