It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond (papa) Gallant. He passed away peacefully on Saturday August 23rd, 2025 at the age of 93. Raymond, a man of strong faith and a kind heart, was the son of Adrian Gallant and Cecilia Blacquire. Growing up on the island of PEI, Raymond developed a strong bond with his catholic faith and remained devoted to his religion throughout his lifetime.<\/p>\n
His adoration and love for his family was unwavering, whether he was planning a trip back home to PEI with his kids or enjoying his grandkids on vacation. He was a loyal fan,\u00a0 supporting all his loved ones in their many sporting activities. He touched many lives with his kindness, his humor and passion for family. In addition to his parents, Raymond is predeceased by his wife Mary, his son Steven and all his siblings: Rita, Urban, Elsie, Bernadette and Celia.<\/p>\n
He will also be lovingly remembered by his surviving children: Catherine(Ted) and Nancy(Richard) and grandchildren: Ashlyn, Raymond, Kasey, Nicholas, Dexter and Mary Lou.<\/p>\n
He will remain forever in our hearts.<\/p>\n

There will be a service for Raymond at 1pm on the 20th of September, 2025 at St. Patrick of the Island church, 278 Rue Shamrock\u00a0 Pincourt, Qc. J7W 3W8<\/p>\n
Refreshments in the hall following the service.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the church address above in which he spent 50 years of his life worshipping.<\/p>\n
