Passed away \u00a0on\u00a0January 3rd, 2019\u00a0 at the age of\u00a076 years old<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Denise De Paola (nee Ouellette) on January 3rd, 2019. Born December 27th 1942, in Alma Lac St-Jean. Although Denise suffered from an incurable and painful disease, she fought until her last breath. When asked how she was feeling, she would always reply \u201cgreat!\u201d with her beautiful smile.<\/p>\n

Denise was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love of 59 years , Anthony \u201cTony\u201d De Paola. Devoted Mother and Grandmother she will be sadly missed by her three children: Sylvia (Benoit), Anthony (Lisa) and her devoted daughter Lucie. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Julien, Amanda, Mia, Sierra and Leticia. She also leaves to mourn her sister Edith (Howard) , sisters-in-law Angie, Laurie (Wayne) and Linda, brother-in-law Michael (Linda) , several cousins, nieces and nephews, especially her cousin Ron who\u2019s hot peppers she so enjoyed . Denise also leaves behind many friends most of whom she kept in touch with during her 27 years at the Stikeman Elliot Law Firm in Montreal. She will also be missed by her Cuban friends and family where she vacationed on a regular basis for the last 21 years.<\/p>\n

The family will receive condolences at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home located at 560, Lakeshore Drive in Dorval on Wednesday January 9th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel.<\/p>\n

For those who wish, donations can be made in Denise\u2019s memory to one of the following charities: Cancer Society, Heart Association, Kidney or Liver Foundation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
