Passed away on\u00a0October 15th, 2019 at the age of\u00a091 years old<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sadly passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 91. John will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his devoted partner, Patricia Burns. Son of the late Donalda Wood and George Mallinson. Predeceased by his sister Mavis Knowles MacIntosh and brothers Kenneth Mallinson (Nancy), Robert and Harold. John will be dearly missed by Edward Latremoille (Leslie Cameron), Nancy Burns and Maria Shortt (the late Robin Burns), Nancy Mallinson and many relatives and friends. Cherished uncle to all his many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. They will never forget their beloved \u201cUncle John\u201d.<\/p>\n

John was a man of honour and principle, a jack-of-all-trades, loyal friend, a practical man who was content with his life`s simple pleasures. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.<\/p>\n

The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Sunday, October 27 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and Monday, October 28 from 10 to 11 am followed by a funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am.<\/p>\n

Donations may be made to the charity of your choice or to the S.P.C.A.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
