M. Clifford Jansz

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Father, Grandfather and Uncle on January 30th, 2019 at Herron Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 62 years; his children, Steve (Marian Kerr) and Gary (Judith), his grandchildren Kim, Katie and Greg and his niece Jennifer Jansz and her children Jason, Ryan and Michael Zinck. He was born in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) on November 11, 1926; however, he lived most of his adult life in Dorval, Quebec. He will be forever missed by many that loved him. “PA” was loved by all and touched everyone he met. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed track & field, cricket and golf. He participated in the 1950 Commonwealth Games in New Zealand as a pole-vaulter. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on February 2 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Veronica’s Church, 1300 Carson Ave. in Dorval. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
