M. John Arthur Mallinson

Sadly passed away on October 15, 2019 at the age of 91. John will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his devoted partner, Patricia Burns. Son of the late Donalda Wood and George Mallinson. Predeceased by his sister Mavis Knowles MacIntosh and brothers Kenneth Mallinson (Nancy), Robert and Harold. John will be dearly missed by Edward Latremoille (Leslie Cameron), Nancy Burns and Maria Shortt (the late Robin Burns), Nancy Mallinson and many relatives and friends. Cherished uncle to all his many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. They will never forget their beloved “Uncle John”.

John was a man of honour and principle, a jack-of-all-trades, loyal friend, a practical man who was content with his life`s simple pleasures. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Sunday, October 27 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and Monday, October 28 from 10 to 11 am followed by a funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am.
