In Memory of Gerald William Read
Gerald William Read, known to all as Jerry, passed away on December 21st, 2023, at the age of 87. Preceded in death by his wife, Marybeth, and siblings James, Albert, and Marjorie, Jerry is survived by his brother Robert. His legacy continues through his children: Michael (Marion), Craig (Anne), Cynthia (Michael), and Julianne (Chris). He was a loving Pappy to his grandchildren: Spencer, Meghan, Adam, Olivia, Elizabeth, and Nicolas. Jerry was a proud great-grandfather to Cooper, Ainsley, and Rowan.
His family invites friends to share in a celebration of Jerry’s life at 1 PM on Saturday, January 6th, at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 57 Boulevard Westpark, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, H9A 2J8. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society in Jerry’s honor.
May Jerry’s spirit find peace, and may the memories shared bring comfort to those who remember him.
