1953-2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Geri, who slipped away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
Geri is mourned by her beloved husband of 48 years, Victor Armstrong, and cherished as a loving mother by her daughters; Sherry, Kerry (Jim), Allison (Brian), and Jennifer (Nick).
Forever treasured by her grandchildren Victoria, James, Hannah, and Olivia.
Geri is survived by her younger brother Ken (Ann-Marie) and loving nieces Heather and Melanie.
Predeceased by her twin sister Terrance Lee (Terry) and her mum and dad; Babs and Mac, as well as her Aunt Maggie; who awaited her with open arms.
Geri will be fondly remembered for her great sense of humor, her kindness, generosity and dedication to her fine career as a nurse. Geri was a lover of travel, and had an exceptional gift for knitting and other crafts. Geri could bring joy and laughter to any situation.
We would like to express a heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care team at the Lachine Hospital, for the dedication, respect and compassionate care they provided to Geri and our family in the last weeks of her life.
Our family welcomes you to join us in remembering the life of this incredibly remarkable woman who will be greatly missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
