Décédé le 21 novembre 2018  à l’âge de 83 ans

Peacefully, on November 21, 2018 in Montreal. Beloved husband of Margaret for 57 years. Loving father of Janet (Steve) and Beverly (Marc). Cherished Grandfather of Alexander and Matthew. Predeceased by his loving parents Arthur and Gladys and his brother Arthur.
Donald was born in Verdun and later raised in Lachine. He attended Sir George Williams University (later Concordia) and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from McGill University in 1961. He practiced for 42 years in Lachine and Dorval. His passion for clinical dentistry was his life’s work and led him to become an Assistant Professor at McGill’s Faculty of Dentistry, teaching in the Crown and Bridge and Occlusion programs. In 1993 he was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He explored many hobbies over his lifetime including fly-fishing, skiing, skeet shooting and hunting, cycling, rowing, trailering across Canada, bible study, Triumph motorcycles and English Bulldogs.
Many thanks to the staff at the CHSLD Herron and Belvédères Residence who cared for him over the last year.
Visitation to be held on Sunday November 25, from 1 to 3pm at Cardinal Funeral Home 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, QC H9S 2B3. A private internment will be held at a later time.
