1943 – 2023
It is with profound sadness that the family of Fred announces his peaceful passing on Saturday January 28, 2023 at the age of 79 years. He was a loving husband to Carol Ann Gill for 53 years and a great dad to Stephen (Cathy), Sandra (Marco) and Wendy (Yvon) and loved papa to Melanie, Anthony, Megan, Abigail, Jayden and Kyle. He leaves behind his sister Dorothy. He will be missed by many sister and brother in laws and nieces and nephews.
Fred was a retiree from Bell Canada after 30 years of service. A celebration of life will be held later.
Thanks to the staff at Lakeshore Hospital and Teresa Dellar Palliative Care for their devoted care. Donations can be made in Fred’s memory to Teresa Dellar Palliative Care.

Je suis vraiment désolée pour la grande perte que vous vivez présentement. La mort est notre pire ennemie. Heureusement, il y a un bel espoir pour l’humanité.
J’ai lu dans un livre rempli de sagesse, une pensée réconfortante qui s’adresse à toutes les communautés culturelles.
« Et il essuiera toute larme de leurs yeux, et la mort n’existera plus ; il n’y aura plus ni deuil, ni cri, ni douleur. Les choses anciennes ont disparu ».
