1937-2022
Iwan Edwards died peacefully at home on March 04, 2022 at the age of 84, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Undeg, sons Owain (Karen) and Aled (Elizabeth), grandchildren Cristyn (Jonny), Trevor (Allysha), and Stephen (Leila), and great-grandchildren Carson, Sofía and Brooks.
He was truly loved as a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and his great-grandchildren brought him much joy during his illness.
Iwan brought music and the love of music into so many lives.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

I was a young teacher at FACE and looked up to my elders for guidance… Iwan was one of these lights that brightened the teacher path I was on. By beautiful example, by simple whole hearted presence, he was a beautiful example to follow… Our common work on Britten’s Noye’s Fludd and later The St Lawrence Choir are very beautiful souvenirs… To Undeg and the family, my warmest regards and condoleances…
