May 12, 1945 – January 14, 2021
Passed away peacefully on January 14, 2021 at the Jewish General Hospital. Enjoyed quality time with his 3 sons in the weeks preceding his death.
Predeceased by his common-law partner for the last 15 years, Louise Lavoie Dumont and survived by his sons Philippe (Angela), Marc (Jennifer) and Alexandre (Kathleen), his grandchildren Gabrielle, Angelo, Sophie, Isabelle, Luca & Emily. Also survived by his former wife, lifelong friend and mother of his children, Shirley Borris.
A special thank you to the staff at the Jewish General Palliative Care Unit for the comfort and support provided, specifically nurses Marie-Michelle, Alex, Benjamin & Maria.
A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his memory to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation.

We were so sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. We will always cherish the good times we spent with Gerry and Louise in Florida. Our sympathy and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. RIP Gerry.
