M. William Gerald (Gerry) Brown

May 12, 1945 – January 14, 2021

Passed away peacefully on January 14, 2021 at the Jewish General Hospital. Enjoyed quality time with his 3 sons in the weeks preceding his death.

Predeceased by his common-law partner for the last 15 years, Louise Lavoie Dumont and survived by his sons Philippe (Angela), Marc (Jennifer) and Alexandre (Kathleen), his grandchildren Gabrielle, Angelo, Sophie, Isabelle, Luca & Emily. Also survived by his former wife, lifelong friend and mother of his children, Shirley Borris.

A special thank you to the staff at the Jewish General Palliative Care Unit for the comfort and support provided, specifically nurses Marie-Michelle, Alex, Benjamin & Maria.

 

A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his memory to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation.

    I’ll remember Gerry in many positive ways-with a big smile and a great sense of humor, always great with a story.
