In Lachine, on June 12 2023, Caterina went to join her husband Domenico Santoro at the age of 86.
Dear mother of Frank (Mary) and Rosaria (Jason), loving nonna to Antonia, Luca, Gabriella and Cristina. She will also be mourned by family and friends.
Family will receive condolences on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame street, Lachine. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday June 16 at 10 a.m. thence to Rideau Memorial Mausoleum 4239 Boul. Des Sources, D.D.O.

Je vous présente d’abord toutes mes condoléances à la famille.
Madame Caterina était ma voisine pendant plusieurs années.
Elle était une brave femme, travailleuse et très sociale.
Je me rappelle pendant l’été quand elle faisait son jardin elle me donnait de bonnes tomates.
Vraiment que son âme repose en paix.
J’ai eu de bons moments avec elle.
Souvent on restait devant nos maisons pour discuter elle faisait beaucoup pour parler français mais on se comprenait pareil .

Caterina is our Daughter-in-Law Rosaria’s Mother & Mother-in-Law to my Son Jason Farinacci and was apart of our family. She was a very kind, thoughtful Woman with a special smile that lit up her face every time we were together. Her first priority & strong bond was always focused on her family. They say that when someone lives their life and dies at peace without pain and suffering is a gift from God. She is united with her late husband who she dearly missed every day and will look down upon her family from above until they are all reunited once again. Rest in peace sweet Lady.
