It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Claire Doherty (nee Maughan) on April 2 nd , 2019 at Lakeshore General Hospital due to complications from a cardiac episode over the weekend. She passed peacefully in her sleep with loved ones by her side.
She leaves to mourn her daughter Susan (Sean), and her cousins Christina, Florence, Debbie, Fred, Linda and Hazel along with many friends.
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Sunday, April 7, from 6 pm to 9 pm and Monday, April 8, from 12 (noon) to 1 pm followed by the funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, April 8 at 1 pm. Thence to Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 701 Donegani Ave, Pointe-Claire, for burial.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the JGH Foundation: Program for Alzheimer ’s Disease and Dementia.
