1942 – 2020
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ildiko, who left us peacefully in her 78th year on August 19, 2020. She was a woman of great integrity and generosity who was completely devoted to her children and grandchildren. Everyone who knew her loved her.
She leaves behind her adored daughters Ildiko Horvath (Walter Santelli), Katinka Horvath, Lilla Horvath (Gary Ludwig), Leonka Horvath (Manfred Breuner), her cherished grandchildren Lörinc Del Motte, Thomas Del Motte, Michael Del Motte, Elizabeth Breuner and Frederick Breuner, along with her many beloved friends.
Ildiko will be remembered for her beautiful smile that could truly light up a room.
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral mass will take place the following day, Friday August 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Saint-Edmund of Canterbury Parish Church, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd., Beaconsfield, (514 695-7100). A private burial will be held on a later date at Notre-Dame des Neiges Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
