It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing away of Mary (May) Landerman-Goodfellow at the age of 82, after a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer.
May is survived by her loving son Michael, as well as caring family and close friends.
May will be remembered for her art; both painting in watercolours and oils, and teaching others to express themselves. She was an avid fan of skiing, watching tennis, and enjoyed long walks along the lakeshore and strolling through art shows up until her diagnosis.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the amazing staff and volunteers at the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Center for their kindness, care, and support during her final days.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, October 21, from 10 am to 1 pm, at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Rue Notre Dame, Lachine QC on Saturday, October 21, 2023, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Residence.

Michael, I am so sorry for your immense loss. May was a good friend and an ally. She fought courageously and remained positive throughout her journey with cancer, she was a true trooper. We were blessed and grateful for her dedication to the Dorval Artists Association and we will miss her dearly. On behalf of all the members of the DAA I wish to express our deepest sympathies and hoping her love for you will give you courage and strength during these difficult times. May she rest in peace.
