1940 – 2023
With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved mother, sister and aunt, Nicole Auclair Iacovelli, 83, after a courageous nine-month battle with cancer.
Nicole was born on June 8, 1940 in Lachine QC. She was full of life and humor, an avid fan of watching tennis, the Blue Jays and the Montreal Canadians, she enjoyed bingo, arts n crafts, knitting and most of all, she loved music and dancing. She was predeceased by her husband, Nick Iacovelli, and siblings Jenette, Gyslaine and John.
Nicole is survived by her loving sons Dean (Margaret) and Dan (Sherry); her adoring grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Adam, Nick, Leah and Gemma; her devoted sisters Lucienne, Ramone, Carmen and Monique; her loving Godchild Nathalie, and her plethora of nieces, nephews and chosen family she collected over her life.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the amazing doctors, staff and volunteers at the palliative care unit in St Joseph’s Hospital in Lachine, for their kindness, support and care shown to Nicole during her stay.
Services will be held at J J Cardinal Residence Funeraire, 2125 Rue Notre Dame, Lachine QC on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00. After it’s the ceremony in the chapel of the Residence.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lachine, QC.

Je viens tout juste de voir la nouvelle.. j’aurais tellement aimer aller lui rendre hommage… quelle bonne personne joviale elle était… j’en garde un excellent souvenir. Salutations a ses soeurs surtout Raymonde que j’ai le plus connu.. sincères condoléances a la famille
