Passed away on March 22nd, 2020 at the age of 87 years old
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ilse Keller (Frei) on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020, at the West Island Palliative Care Center in Kirkland, Quebec
Born on March 6th 1933, Mrs. Keller was educated in fashion design in Germany. She and her late husband, immigrated to Canada in February, 1952.
Mrs. Keller was devoted to caring for others and ensuring that her children were safe, healthy and happy. She volunteered for many organizations (e.g., Brownies, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, etc.)
She was proud of her family and loved them deeply. For years her home was the central gathering place for all family occasions. She leaves to mourn her two daughters, Sheala (Robert) and Wendy (Gerald) and her grandson Dean (Jackie) and other family and friends. Never to be forgotten, your goodness, caring and wisdom will live on.
Given the need for safety for all and respecting the requirements set forth by the government of Quebec during the Covid19 pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
