It is with great sadness to announce the passing of William (Bill) in his sleep on September 25, 2022 at the age of 72 years old.
He is survived by his wife Johanne, sister Bernadette, brother Gerald, many nieces and nephews and friends. Predeceased by brothers Edmond, Leonard, Ernest, Raymond and sister Theresa. Born in Moncton, Bill came to Montreal in 1965 and had a 35-year career at CP Rail. He retired at the age of 55 and since then pursued many of his interests.
He was an avid music lover, metal detectorist, stamp collector, enjoyed gardening and cooking. He had dabbled in martial arts and tai chi. Always curious about everything. He was a very social person and enjoyed the company of others, always seeing the lighter side of things kidding around.
Visitation will take place October 15 from 1-4pm at J. J. Cardinal Funeral Home, located at 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, QC H9S 2B3
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.

Chère Johanne,
Il est difficile de trouver les mots justes dans te telles circonstances. La perte de ton conjoint et complice est certainement une bien grande peine et une grande tristesse pour toi. Accepte ces quelques mots de soutien et d’affection comme un baume de réconfort, bien mince peut-être, mais sincère. Je ne pourrai malheureusement être auprès de toi et la famille de Bill la semaine prochaine mais mes pensées seront de tout coeur avec vous. xxx

Johanne, I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I hope that you are doing well. I remember Bill from years ago, he was always a happy and bubbly personality. My deepest condolences to you and your families.
