1920-2024
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Léandre Hachez, of LaSalle, on November 6, 2024, at the age of 104 years old. Beloved husband of the late Adrienne Beaulieu, he was predeceased by his parents Jean Hachez and Marthe Boudreau, and his siblings and their spouses Alphonsine, Lionel (Lucienne Soucy, Françoise Clavet, Jeanne-d’Arc Pelletier), Ernest, Émile (Rosanne Pelletier, Lina Pantaloni), Léonile, Armand (Françoise Bellavance, Marguerite Bélanger), Doralice, Philippe (Marleen Macmillan, Elizabeth Beer) and Omer. He was a retired employee of the House of Seagram.
He leaves his two daughters Suzanne (the late Michel Barbin) and Geneviève (Michel Mastropaolo), his grand-children Martin (Caroline Massé) and Étienne Dupuy, Renaud (Sabrina Mercier) and Flavie Lavigne (David Castonguay), his great granddaughter Marianne Dupuy, many nephews and nieces, numerous friends.
Visitations will take place at J. J. Cardinal, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. A ceremony will follow at 4:30 p.m. .
Remembrances can be made through contributions to Crohn’s Colitis Canada and the War Amps of Canada.
