1940 – 2025
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Bessette surrounded by his family. predeceased by his father Leo Bessette, mother Therese Fugère, brother Michel (Lizette), sisters Suzanne and Françoise.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Lise Richard, sister Carmen, children Dawn Montour (Arnold), Brigitte (Tony) and Ronald, his grandchildren TJ (Katarina), Joey, Liam (Silver), Alyssa (Adamo), Ethan and his great grandchildren Turquoise, Onyx, Grace, Kaeden, Mila, Nora, Crimson, Cypress, Coven, Sable.
The family would like to thank the amazing team at the Royal Victoria Hospital on C8 for their superlative, loving care.
The family will receive condolences at Résidence funéraire J.J. Cardinal, 2125 rue Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Sunday, March 9 starting at 11:00 followed by a service at 15:00 in the chapel. Because our dad was dedicated Montréal Canadiens fan, we invite you to wear your best Habs gear.
