It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Towes on January 8th 2026. He peacefully passed away in Lachine. He left the world with dignity and respect surrounded by the ones he loves, his wife and daughter, after 13 years of a long battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife Lourdes. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Rachelle (Yassine), his sister Judy, and by many friends and relatives.
Many thanks to the palliative care team on the 4th floor at Lachine hospital for taking such amazing care of Wayne in his last final weeks with us, we are truly grateful for you.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday 21th, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home (2125 Notre-Dame Street, Lachine).
