It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Menniti on August 1st, 2026. He is survived by his wife Yolanda Priolo Menniti of 66 years and their five sons, Antonio (Sandra), Alberto (Marianna), Daniel (Rosanna), Franco (Rosaria) and Marcello (Myriam).
Proud grandfather of Tony Jr, Michael, Mathieu, Michelle, Luka, Vince, Joseph, Sara, Daniel, Gabriella, Julianna, Sofia, Claudia and great-grandfather to Riccardo, Zack, Zoey, Enzo and Leo. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his siblings, Saverio (Giuseppina), Maria (Domenic) and Theresa.
Born in 1940 in Isca sullo Ionio, Catanzaro, Italy, and immigrated to Canada in 1961. He was the founder and past president of Marina Matériaux et Equipements, in Lachine.
Visitation will be at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, located at 2125 Notre Dame Street, Lachine, Qc. H8S 2G5
Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Montreal Alzheimer Society would be appreciated
Funeral Mass will be held at Missione Dell’Annunziata Church, 4360 Broadway, Lachine (Quebec) H8T1V2 on
Thursday, August 6th, 2026 at 11 a.m.
Inurnment will follow at a later date.

My deepest sympathies to his wife, sons, and family. A huge man in his own right, he accomplished a legacy of hard work, sacrifices, determination, respect of everyone, to build a business for his sons to continue as they are doing. Proud man and strong man, he will be remembered as such. R.I.P. sig Menniti❤️

Thinking about your family. Among my oldest memories is flying with my Mom to Montreal when I was a toddler. I also remember a long road trip with Father Dan to Lachine as a teenager. Over many years, your family has always been there. Vincenzo was an amazing guy and a true Menniti!
