It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Coull David, beloved wife of Richard David, on September 18 2026.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; her daughters, Karen (the late Ray) and Ann (Baldino); her grandchildren, Katherine (Alex), Mathieu (Rosie), Julie (Renève), Gab (Thomas), and Alessandro, as well as her great-grandchildren, Myles, Julien, and Logan. She will also be missed dearly by her sister Fran (Richard) and her brother Robert (Lori), in addition to her three sisters-in-law.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, September 26th 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by the service in the chapel at 5:00 pm, at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home (2125 Notre-Dame Street, Lachine H8S 2G5).
We would like to extend our gratitude to the oncology team at the Glen Hospital, and to the palliative care team at the Lachine hospital. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations for the Canadian Cancer Society Dedicate your donation | Canadian Cancer Society

of Diane’s loving family on the loss of their beloved mother, wife, grandmother and sister. Diane was a beautiful warrior who
fought this battle with dignity, courage and total grace. I was very fortunate to have known Diane while living at Savignon for some years now and I will hold her beautiful warm smile in my heart always. May she Rest in Eternal Peace and may her Joy Remain forever.

Dear Frances,
When we were very young, our families lived on 34th Avenue and we went to Queen of Angels Academic together. I was saddened to read about Diane’s passing. Although it was many decades ago, I remember how Diane always so kind to me as a young girl. Please accept my heartfelt wishes of comfort to you and to Robert and to all of Diane’s family. May her beautiful spirit be at peace.
