Mrs Rosemarie Singer ( nee Woodcock)

ROSEMARIE SINGER (née WOODCOCK)
December 10, 1930 – January 24, 2018

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosemarie Woodcock Singer. Born in Toronto, youngest of five children. She had a distinguished career with the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs. She is predeceased by her siblings and their spouses André (Janine Hébert), Noëlla (Roger Hurtubise), John (Lois Pennycook) and Georgette (Desmond Firlotte). She will be sadly missed by the Hurtubise clan (Margot Hurtubise Heron, Robert, Charles, Philippe & James Hurtubise) here in Montreal, as well as her nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews in Quebec, Ontario and Australia and her many friends in Canada and the US. Special thanks for the excellent care given by the fourth floor staff at the CHSLD Bayview in Pointe-Claire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Island Citizen Advocacy in Pointe-Claire or to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. A funeral mass will be held at St. Veronica’s Church, 1300 Carson Avenue, Dorval H9S 1M6 at 11 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2018. Visitation will take place at the Church as of 9:30 AM. Funeral arrangements have been made through J.J. Cardinal, Dorval, Qc.
