It’s with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Carmel LeBlanc at the age of 96, who passed away at Saint-Mary’s Hospital on December 26 with Lise, Monique and Chris by her side.
Carmel was born in Bathurst, N.B and was very proud of her Acadian heritage. She moved to Montreal where she met her late husband Raymond LeBlanc (Mumps).
Carmel kept very active throughout her life curling, golfing, bridge along with all the committees she was proud to be a part of WCL, LaSalle Figure Skating, Lachine Curling Club, Meals on Wheels and her final venture being on the board of her residence that she adored, Donalda Boyer in Dorval, just to name a few. She was so grateful for her life and the people who were part of it.
Our mother was an exceptional woman. She will be remembered for her kindness, grace and her genuine caring for all.
Carmel is survived by her two daughters Lise & Monique LeBlanc. Sons-in-law Chris Koromvokis and Arnie Oliver. Grandmother to Jonathan Botosan, Stephanie Collinge and the late Christopher Collinge.
Loving sister to the late Lola Torunski & late brother in law Henry. The late Elva Boulay & the late brother in law John. Aline Mackariak and the late brother in law Fred. Raymond Landry and wife
Geraldine. The late Normand Landry and sister in law Iris Cole. Cleo Landry and the late sister in law Francine. The late sister in law Laurence (Larry) Whalen. Not to mention all the nieces and nephews.
Service will be Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at St Veronica’s Parish – 1300 Carson Avenue, Dorval.
