I got to know Bob when we were both undergrads at McGill. Bob played football for the McGill Redmen. He was a very good guy and loved to laugh. Coincidentally, I taught his sister Lisa computer science at Dawson College. May God bless Bob and his whole family!
Bob was a great friend and golf partner that I met through the Lachine Curling Club. Bob was one of those people that always seemed to come through. He was a major contributor to the workings of the curling club and will be missed. Rest in peace.
I am deeply saddened and still in disbelief of Bob’s passing. I met Bob through a couple of long time old friends. when we were reunited through Golf with Bob often. we would celebrate birthdays together with dinner and drinks., and with his friendly, lighthearted, laughter, personality got me introduced to the game of CURLING when he said I should come out to the LACHINE CURLING club, which he then assisted me that first time out. he was a terrific person and will be deeply missed.

I shared a formative part of my life with Bob in high school through a mutual friend. I remember him as a funny, thoughtful and responsible guy that could be counted on. The Chambers clan was a vital part of my teens and generates fond memories.
Our paths crossed several times later on and he was always a pleasure to be with. My condolences go out to his surviving siblings and all of his family. His passing is a time to look inward and reflect on how he touched us all. Bob, you will be missed.
Dear Valentine & family Our sincere sympathy. Bob will be sadly missed by many..

My deepest condolences. Bob was a prominent constant figure at our Lachine curling club, one of the first people i met when i joined. He loved a good laugh and will be remembered for that and his dedication to the curling club.
I am unfortunately out of town this coming Saturday, but will be present in thought.
I’m still in shock of Bob’s passing. My deepest condolences goes out to the whole family.i knew Bob through old friends when we reconnected and started playing golf with Bob. He also introduced me to CURLING and helped me through that first day with equipment and to appreciate the sport, and those birthday celebration dinners with food and drinks will not be the same without him. He will be deeply missed.

I was shocked and saddened on hearing of Bobs sudden passing. Having known Bob over a large number of years he is always a part of a lot of good memories that can bring a smile or a laugh or a warm thought to my mind. I am sure this is true for many others as well. He was always considered a good friend to all my family. We are all richer for having him as part of our lives. Sincerest sympathies are sent to Valintine and all his family and loved ones, may he rest in peace. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing that he added to the lives of many who knew him and that he will be remembered and missed.
In Loving Memory of Bob
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my dear friend and loyal client, Bob. For over 40 years, I had the pleasure and privilege of cutting his hair — from Place Bonaventure to the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, the Sun Life Building, and the Telus Building. Bob always followed me wherever I worked, and that loyalty meant so much to me.
Sadly, he never had the chance to visit me at my new location in Promenades de la Cathédrale. I will miss him deeply — his kindness, his great stories…. (football, curling, hockey) and the friendship we built over so many years.
To his beloved wife, Valentine — please accept my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Bob was a true gentleman and will always be remembered with warmth and respect.
With sympathy, Sandro
Bob was one of my coaches when I first started curling, and his passion for the sport inspired me to become the player I am today. Over the years, he was always rooting for our success on and off the ice. His kind spirit will be deeply missed at the curling club. May he rest in peace.
