Mrs Alice Lucyshyn (née Kuzik)

1929-2022

Alice Lucyshyn (née Kuzik) passed away peacefully in Ottawa on May 11, 2022, at age 93 with her son Bob at her side.

Loving mother of Bob and Linda, mother-in-law of Lisa, grandmother of Rachel, Rebecca, Rory (Anna), Levon, and Gabor. Predeceased by husband John and son Greg.

Alice was born in 1929 and grew up in the Ukrainian community in the east end of Lachine, became a legal secretary, then married and raised her family in the west end of Lachine where she stayed until 2018 when she moved to a retirement home in Pierrefonds. In the final months of her life, she moved to Ottawa to be with family who visited her every day. Alice was devoted to her family and created many good memories over her long life for those who knew her.

On May 19, 2022, a private funeral was held at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home in Dorval and the burial took place at the Cimetière Catholique de Lachine.
