Mrs Linda Pepper (née Bark)

Mrs Linda Pepper (née Bark)

It is with great sadness and love that the family of Linda Pepper (nee Bark) announces her passing on April 22, 2022, at McGill University Centre Glen site with her family by her side.

Beloved wife of 45 years to Dave, devoted mother to Beverley (Eric) and Graham (Amanda) and loving grandmother to Brooklyn, Tomas and Ava. She will be deeply missed by her family including her twin sister Brenda (Russ), her brothers Cliff (Tina) and Ken and her nieces and nephew. Lovingly remembered by her mother in-law May and sister in-law Elizabeth. She is reunited with her parents Robert and Annabelle as well as her brother Peter.

A lifelong Lachine resident, Linda was an active member within the community and was fortunate to have encountered, worked and volunteered with many people over the years, particularly during her time at Lachine High School.

It is with great gratitude that the family wishes to acknowledge the numerous caregivers that demonstrated extreme professionalism and empathy towards both Linda and her family. Of special note are Dr. Cormier, Dr. Nick Krassakopoulos, Dr. MacDonald, and the nursing staff at the Royal Victoria emergency and internal medicine units that ensured her comfort. Special thanks to Shayna and Melynda from Maisonneuve Rosemont who provided regular assistance over the last years.

The family will receive condolences and host a celebration of life at JJ Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Rue Notre Dame, Lachine on May 14th, 2022 from 11:00-1:00.

Deepest sympathies to Dave, Graham, Bev and Pepper and Bark families. Linda was loved by all. I had the privilege of working with her at Lakeside as well as being a parent of children the same age attending the community schools. I shared a memory of exercise class we took as children at Meadowbrook school on Saturday mornings.
    Rest In Peace dear Linda.

It was a sad day when I read of Linda’s death. We worked together in the library at Dominion Bridge and became friends. She encouraged me to pursue a degree in Library Science and I have always been grateful to her for that. I am unable to attend her celebration of life but send my sincere condolences to her family.
    Love Anne Peters
