Edward Francis Martell passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 94. Husband of the late Joyce Abbott (2014). Father of the late Son Barry (2020) and Daughter Faith Sharo (2019). Brother of the late Charlie, Gerald and Helen; Survived by Brother Harry, Daughter Carol-Anne Tataryn, Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Dear Friend Dawn Dechamps. He will be greatly missed.
Resting at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Dr., Dorval (514) 631-1511, visitation will take place on Friday January 5, from 2 to 5pm and from 7 to 9 pm. There will also be visitation on Saturday January 6, from 9:30 am until service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 :00 am.

Our Dear Dad , has left us to be with the rest of the Martell family that pre – deceased him , his wife , his son and one of his daughters , We that are left will , miss you , ….A Dad , father , father in law, grand father , great grandfather , friend and our “ Poppy..” We pray that from the other side , you watch over us all , that are left behind..We love and will miss you our Dear “Poppy”….

I have had the pleasure of being a neighbour to the Martells for 20 years. They will be greatly missed. I will remember my many “talks” with Eddie as he would sit on his gallery up front on the warmer days. either reading or watching the neighbours pass by. He was always smiling. May God bless you Eddie . My sincere condolences to the Martell family.
