1933 – 2024
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Jacques Côté on September 15, 2024 at the age of 90.
He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Ghislaine, his two sons Sylvain (Rose Adamson) and Éric (Anne-Marie Broudehoux), his grandson Sacha Simon-Côté, his sister Murielle (André Legault) as well as many relatives and friends.
Courageous and generous, Jacques began his career as a machinist, then went on to become a factory foreman and finally served as technical director within the hydraulics department of Dominion Engineering Works in Lachine where he was always popular with his co-workers during his remarkable 43 years of service.
An enthusiastic angler, Lady Luck also smiled on him many times when he played cards with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 29 at the J.J. Cardinal funeral home, located at 2125 rue Notre-Dame in Lachine, from noon to 3 pm, followed by a farewell ceremony at 3 pm in the chapel.
